I am a Brazilian software engineer with hands-on experience across robotics, backend systems, and web products. Today, I am focused on generative AI and building useful tools that solve real problems.

01 — About

Engineer first, curious builder always.

I like working across the stack and adapting to whatever a product needs most, whether that is backend architecture, front-end UX, or AI integration.

My background mixes industry and research: internships at Amazon and AWS, plus LLM entropy research at the NETS Lab at Florida Tech.

I am especially interested in practical generative AI, computer vision, and systems that make complex workflows feel simple for real people.

Investigated entropy patterns and behavior in large language models under Dr. Ryan White.
May 2024 — Aug 2024 · Yangshuo, China
English Tutor @ Omeida Academy
Taught small conversation-focused classes for local students, helping them gain confidence speaking English in daily situations.
May 2023 — Aug 2023 · Seattle, WA
SDE Intern @ AWS
Optimized optical rack planning for data centers using SageMaker and built batch job pipelines on AWS Batch.

SDE Intern @ Amazon
Improved the native landing page and built a User Preferences interface using React and TypeScript.
03 — Education
2021 — 2025 · Melbourne, FL
B.S. Computer Science
Florida Institute of Technology. Graduated Cum Laude and conducted undergraduate research in machine learning and language models.
2020 · Stanford University
Coding Summer Program
Intensive summer program focused on programming fundamentals, project building, and collaborative problem solving.
2019 · MIT & USP
MURSS Robotics Summer Program
MIT/USP robotics summer program with hands-on technical activities and exposure to robotics applications and research.
04 — Projects
Personal Project
AI Agent for Health Clinics
WhatsApp-native scheduling agent that handles booking, rescheduling, and cancellations via text, voice notes, and calls.
Personal Project · Family App
Vilela Vianna Games
Built for a friend's board-game-loving family to replace notebook scorekeeping with session tracking, rankings, and long-term stats they've used for over 2 years.
Personal Project · Sorocaba, Brazil
Spraywall
Built for my local climbing gym after seeing route ideas managed on paper. Climbers now create, save, and search boulders digitally by hold type and difficulty.
Academic Product Project
FIT Class Schedule Planner
Web tool that combines degree tracking, course planning, and conflict checks in one place, cutting registration time from around 30 minutes to around 2.5 minutes on average.
Personal Project
Climbing Performance Prediction
Regression model to predict max climbing grade from body metrics, with decision tree analysis for feature importance.
Personal Project · Data Science
Melbourne Beach Surf Forecast
Unsupervised learning project to cluster surf conditions and spot sessions that feel closer to the waves I grew up surfing in Brazil.
